How can you contact Amazon?
You can contact Amazon or better Amazon customer support, in several ways: by phone, via chat, or by email. The steps to take to contact Amazon customer support are really very simple and fast. Below you will find all the procedures described in detail.
Contact Amazon by phone
Until recently it was possible to contact Amazon via the toll-free customer service number. Now, the toll-free number is no longer active, but it is possible to be called by an operator through a very simple procedure.
- Log in to the Amazon site;
- Log in by entering your access data;
- Select the item “Accounts and Lists”, present at the top right;
- Click on “My Account” ;
- Click on “Help” and then click on “Contact Us”.
At this point you have two options: if you need assistance for a product you have already purchased, click on the “Receive product assistance” button, next to the order placed, on the next page click on the “Receive assistance by-product” button, click on “Call me”, enter your phone number, then click on “Call me now”.
If, on the other hand, you need more information, after clicking on “Contact Us”, click on “Prime and more”, from the drop-down menu select the type of problem or information you need, click on the “Phone” button, type in your phone number and click “Call me now”.
Within a few minutes, you will be contacted by Amazon customer support. The service is active every day from 06:00 to 00:00.
Contact Amazon via chat
To contact Amazon via chat, the procedure is practically the same as that seen previously. After carrying out the first steps, instead of clicking on “Call me” or “Phone”, click on “Chat”.
Once you click on the “Chat” button, a small window will open, briefly write the type of problem you are experiencing or the information you need, then click on “Start Chat”. Within seconds, you will be connected via chat with an operator.
Also in this case the service is active every day from 06:00 to 00:00.
Contact Amazon by email
If the telephone and chat service is not active, you can contact Amazon by email. This procedure is also the same as those seen previously, the only difference is that you must click on the “Email” button instead of “Phone” or “Chat”.
After clicking on the “Email” button a new page will open, at this point all you have to do is type the message in the appropriate field and click on the “Send” button.
